Vatican announces Leo XIV will visit France and UNESCO in September 2026

Pope Leo XIV will travel to France from 25 to 28 September 2026, the Holy See Press Office said in a first notice on 7 August. The trip includes an address at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. It will be his fifth international journey and his second to Western Europe.
